Michael A. Pickup

Michael Pickup is the Auditor General of Nova Scotia.  Prior to his appointment to this position in 2014, Michael spent 25 years working for the Office of the Auditor General of Canada.  He has diverse experience across financial and performance audit areas, covering the most complex to smallest audits.  He led Canada’s largest financial statement audit for a number of years.  His experience includes audits of government departments, as well as large, profit-focused crown corporations (e.g. Royal Canadian Mint).
