John Delaney

John Delaney, CIA, CRMA, CRM, is the Manager, Integrated Risk Management, for the Royal Canadian Navy.  He has 26 years of combined experience in Comprehensive Audit, Strategic Planning, Control Self Assessment and Integrated Risk Management. He is an active board member of the Maritime Chapter, and, in the past, has held positions of Chapter President, District Representative, and member of the International Government Relations Committee (GRC).

As an experienced leader and passionate advocate for both Internal Audit and Risk Management, John is eager to convey his knowledge and experience.  Over the years, he has enjoyed the opportunity to engage audiences and share groundbreaking practices, including at the international (GRC New York, GRC Washington) and national level (Conference Board of Canada’s Intergovernmental Forum on Risk Management – 2014 and 2015, and Enterprise Risk Management, 2016).
