François-Michel Brière

François-Michel Brière, B.Eng., CISSP, CISA, graduated with distinction from Concordia University in Montréal with a Bachelor of Software Engineering. and he brings to Internal Audit a refreshing approach.

Throughout his career in the federal government internal audit, François-Michel has brought a unique mix of technical skills, auditing background and creativity for more than 12 years. Prior to becoming an internal auditor, François-Michel worked for Zerø Knowledge Systems, a privacy and security company as well as for the Canadian Space agency in the RADARSAT team where he conceived and deployed a procedure management system.

François-Michel began using TeamMate back in 2001 as one of the early adopters. “In those days”, binders upon binders of audit working papers were still the norm!
