Carmen Abela

Carmen Abela, is the Managing Director of WindReach Consulting Services Inc. and the Chairman of the Board for the Institute of Internal Auditors Canada (IIA Canada).  She is a Chartered Director (C.Dir.), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration.  Ms. Abela has nearly twenty years of experience advising senior leaders on public sector oversight, accountability and operational excellence. The scope of her career has touched virtually all functions of government.  She has implemented and modernized risk management, management control frameworks and internal audit, all as part of her commitment to good governance and the advancement of the public good.
