Archie Thomas

Archie Thomas, CIA, FCPA, FCMA, CFE, C.Dir,  is a Consulting Internal Auditor.  He has worked in fifteen countries in mining, energy, utilities, retail, education, and government.  He is on the Advisory Council of ClearView Strategic Partners, on the faculty of The Directors College, an IIA Distinguished Faculty Member and an Internal Audit Quality Assessor/Validator.

A dynamic speaker, passionate advocate, and active volunteer in our profession, he has contributed to guidance-related projects including the 2013 Standards revision, the 2014 Quality Assessment Manual and the 2015 quality Practice Advisories. He is a director of IIA Global and member of the Audit Committee.  He received the IIA’s 2007 Victor Z Brink Award for Distinguished Service and IIA Canada’s 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award.
