Richard has recently helped complete the CPA Canada Document “20 Questions Directors should ask about Internal Audit”. Also in the last 3 years Richard has taught over 400 Canadian Corporate Directors on the value of Risk Management and Internal Audit in the ICD Directors Education Program. He knows first-hand what Canadian governance leaders expect from Internal Audit to navigate future needs, and has also heard from many Directors that they too realize they do not have the skills that future Directors need to have (I.e. An intimate understanding of how to effectively control cyber security threats). Richard passionately believes the IA leaders of today will be the best Corporate Directors in the future. Richard hopes to educate, inspire, and entertain.
