Peter Yien

Peter Yien is a Partner at MNP focused on assisting clients with enterprise and technology related risks. Peter brings over 15 years of external audit and 6 years of industry experience and has consulted or audited highly complex global computing environments.  Peter led the Canadian Electronic Commerce initiatives while he was at McDonald’s Canada.  In addition, he played the role of IT Controller and Hudson’s Bay Company and Global Director of Financial Systems and Process improvement at Geac Computer Corporation.  Peter brings a unique combination of consulting, external audit and progressively senior management roles from industry and public accounting. Peter is active within our communities.  Peter was recently elected as the Vice-Chair for the Covenant House Toronto (CHT).  Previously, he served CHT’s Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair.  During this time, CHT have received several financial reporting excellence awards presented by the Queen’s School of Business and CPA Ontario.  Peter served as the past Deloitte’s National chair and the GTA chair leading their UW campaigns helping to raise approximately 10 million dollars.
