Lora Grandberg

Lora Grandberg is a senior risk management leader with experience in assisting boards and executives understand their risk exposure, designing customized risk management frameworks, strengthening organizational capability in ERM and assisting executives in achieving strategic objectives. Lora is a chartered accountant with more than ten years’ experience in corporate finance, sarbanes-oxley compliance, ERM and internal audit. In addition to a CA, Lora holds the Canadian risk management designation from the Global Risk Management Institute, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Science and Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan. Currently, Lora is a member of the Conference Board of Canada’s Strategic Risk Council, allowing a broad range of senior executives and board directors to learn from and share one another’s risk experiences, skills, perspectives and challenges. Lora specializes in global ERM to improve company-wide decision making, as the manager of ERM and insurance at Cameco Corporation in their tax, treasury and corporate strategy department. In 2015, Lora led Cameco to the inaugural IIA Canada Mastering Risk Award for excellence in private sector risk management.
