John Lees

John Lees, CPA, CA, CIA, CRMA, B.Comm, is the founding Partner of Orbis Risk Consulting Inc. and Co-Chair of the 2016 IIA Canada National Conference. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management. Mr. Lees has approximately twenty years of experience advising Canadian, international and First Nation governments on governance, accountability and program delivery. From his roots in rural Northern Ontario he has grown a passion for indigenous social policy issues and now works with Canadian and First Nation leaders in the areas of indigenous self determination, community governance, accountability and indigenous program delivery.
