David Helberg

David is the Director, Internal Audit and Corporate Ethics for Cameco Corporation, where he has the privilege to work with clients from across the globe, delivering value by taking a practical, risk-based approach to internal audit. He passionately gives back to our internal audit community by volunteering extensively with The Institute of Internal Auditors. In recent years, this has included: two terms as President of the Saskatchewan Chapter, member of the 2016 Canadian Nominating Committee, member of the 2016 Canadian National Conference Programs Committee, as well as a member of the 2015 International Conference Programs Committee. With a passion for lifelong learning, David continues to teach post-secondary classes on the topics of marketing and organizational behavior, while spending countless evenings and weekends at Saskatchewan rinks with his wife watching their two sons play hockey.
